Bicheno

A sleepy little town where we stayed two nights in a charming, cabin like studio. There's a 3 km "foreshore footpath" that we walked a lot on. The red on the rock is some kind of lichen. This place is just south of the spot called "The Bay of Fires". I'd originally thought it was named that because of the reddish orange lichen, but I read that the seaman that named the area first saw the shore when there were many fires that (assumedly) the aborigines had started.
