Nine Mile Beach

We walked for about 45 minutes on this beach, and fortunately, before we'd gotten too far, we thought to take note of where our car was parked (not visible when you're walking on the beach). There were almost no identifying features to help you. We noticed a crazy looking stick planted into the sand (probably by someone who worried they'd never see the parking area without some marker) and knew that when we got back there, our car was nearby. The view of the mountains in the distance of the Hazard Range on the Freycinet peninsula where we'd hiked a few days earlier.
