Tandeming on the the Bay

At the beach in Mordialloc. Every town's beach has a "lifesaving club".
It wasn't like our tandem at home (though the silver color reminded me of our old friend Tandem #1 -- we miss you!), but it was still great to get out and ride this morning. We ended up pedaling about 24 miles, from Brighton to Mordialloc passing beautiful beaches along the way. For a while, we drafted off a group of riders from a local hospital. They even had their own trailing car to keep cars away. We probably saw well over 100 bicyclists this morning. What a great road to ride on -- Beach Road on Port Phillip Bay.

  1. Hi Nancy and Joe,

I am learning so much about Australia from your great blog and pictures. It looks amazing. Everything is so colorful! I especially liked the "urban art" that they are considering painting over. I wish Australia would outsource their artists to the USA. Our graffiti is not nearly as interesting.

You are missed. Keep the pictures coming.

    Carol and Mark, too
