We checked into the Freycinet Lodge about 5:00 and decided to do the hike to the lookout against the advice of the guy at the front desk. He said it would be covered in clouds and to wait until tomorrow, but there's rain in tomorrow's forecast so we decided to give it a shot. Boy were we glad we didn't listen to him since we were rewarded with a fabulous vista. All the postcards show it on a perfectly sunny day, but we were pretty happy with the views we had too.
